Course Description: What is biomimicry? Literally it is the imitation of the living. We will dive into the world of God’s design and see how it has been and can continue to be applied to inventions for human use. We will explore examples of God’s design in nature and discover how His design has given man inspirations for batteries, human organ repair, microlenses, automotive engineering, paint, and much more. We will look at 101 biographies of scientists that believe in our magnificent creator and His great design. Over the course of the year, we will touch on every aspect of science as it relates to design and engineering. The students will gain a deeper, better understanding of science, and a deeper knowledge of Christ as our designer and creator.
