Course Description: This course will involve a combination of theoretical concepts and problem-solving, with a strong emphasis on mathematical reasoning and proof. The following concepts will be covered:

  • Basic trigonometric functions (sine, cosine, tangent) and their properties

  • The unit circle and its relationship to trigonometric functions

  • Solving trigonometric equations and identities

  • Application of trigonometry in real-world problems, such as wave motion, navigation, and physics

  • Inverse trigonometric functions and their properties

  • Applications of inverse trigonometric functions

  • Introduction to complex numbers

  • Polar coordinates and their relationship to the Cartesian coordinate system

  • Vectors and vector operations
